Irish actress Saoirse Ronan has been cast in the lead role in a new action-thriller called 'Hanna'.
The Hollywood Reporter says that the film will see Ronan working again with 'Atonement' director Joe Wright.
'Hanna' tells the story of a 14-year-old girl from Eastern Europe who has been trained as an assassin by her father.
But when she forms a friendship with a French family and their daughter, she must take a stand against the life which has been chosen for her.
Ronan's new film 'The Lovely Bones', in which she plays a murdered girl, opens in Irish cinemas on Friday, 19 February.
