It has been announced that 'Casino' and 'Basic Instinct' star Sharon Stone is joining the cast of 'Law & Order: SVU'.
TVGuide.com reports that the 51-year-old will play an Assistant District Attorney in the series.
Stone won an Emmy Award in 2004 for her guest role as a lawyer in 'The Practice'.
She will begin shooting her 'Law & Order: SVU' episodes this month.
