'American Idol' star Jason Castro and his fiancée Mandy Mayhall married in his hometown near Dallas, Texas on Saturday.
People magazine reports that in a Twitter post the 22-year-old singer-songwriter said: "Yesterday I married the girl of my dreams. It couldn't have been more perfect! Now, honeymoooon!!! :)"
Castro and Mayhall announced their engagement in November.
It is reported that he proposed on Halloween while they were dressed as characters from Disney's 'Beauty and the Beast'.
Castro finished fourth in the seventh series of 'American Idol'.
