Eastenders actress Glynis Barber has revealed that she does not expect her character to be unveiled as the killer of Archie Mitchell.
Archie was murdered by a mystery assailant on Christmas Day, sparking speculation over who committed the crime.
Barber's character, Glenda, who is Archie's ex-wife, will be at the centre of a storyline when she arrives in Albert Square unexpectedly.
In an interview with Digital Spy, Barber said: "You just never know what they're going to spring on you! Nobody knows yet - even the perpetrator doesn't know.
"When we were filming, a lot of people were saying, 'Glenda could have done this'. My instinct is that it won't be Glenda, but I don't know what I'm basing that on! I think it's probably because I've bonded with the character."
