TG4's Irish language soap 'Ros na Rún' celebrates its 1,000th episode on New Year's Eve, and fans have been promised a night to remember.
Commenting on the landmark episode, series producer Hugh Farley said: "Over the last 14 years, we've built up a loyal base of fans who love our realistic storylines and our fantastic cast of actors.
"The 1,000th episode is one our fans will not forget, featuring a surprise engagement and a shock arrest.
"I'd like to offer a big congratulations to the actors and our brilliant production team who make the show such a hit each week, and here's to the next thousand episodes."
'Ros na Rún' airs on TG4 every Tuesday and Thursday at 8.30pm with an omnibus edition every Sunday at 10.30pm.
