'One Tree Hill' star Jana Rae Kramer and her boyfriend, the actor Johnathon Schaech, have announced their engagement.
People magazine reports that 40-year-old Schaech proposed to the actress, who plays Alex Dupre in 'One Tree Hill', on 22 December.
"It was the best present ever," he told the magazine. "It was the happiest moment of my life. I can't wait to make Jana my wife and have a family."
Schaech met 26-year-old Kramer when they co-starred in the 2008 film 'Prom Night'.
The actor was previously married to Christina Applegate; they divorced in 2007.
