Mr T - Turned down chance to appear in blockbuster

'The A-Team' star Mr T has said that he will not be making a cameo appearance in the big screen version of the 1980s TV classic.

Speaking to Latino Review, the actor, who played Sergeant Bosco Albert 'BA' Baracus in the series, said that his decision not to appear in the film was not about money, and that he turned down the blockbuster before a fee was even discussed.

Mr T, real name Laurence Tureaud, added that he had no issues with the film itself or its cast but said that he was not interested in a cameo.

There has been speculation that Mr T's 'The A-Team' co-stars Dwight Schultz (Captain HM 'Howling Mad' Murdock) and Dirk Benedict (Lieutenant Templeton 'Faceman' Peck) will have cameos in the Liam Neeson-starring film.

'The A-Team' opens in cinemas in June.
