Television presenter Kathryn McKiernan chats about a magical Christmas memory and the best present she ever got.
My favourite Christmas song has to be... O Holy Night; When a Child is Born; Merry Christmas Everyone; All I want for Christmas – I could go on. They’re all so great! The cheesier the better.
I immediately think of Christmas when I see... the roaring fire at home come October; the Christmas lights on Grafton Street because they’re so beautiful; & when I drink a chai latte - it’s Christmas in a cup!
The best Christmas present I ever got was... a personalised photograph calendar. My friend Ben got it for me two years ago and I absolutely loved it. It has lots of photographs of our friends and it’s something I’ll keep forever.
The worst Christmas present I ever got was... a soap set. They just don’t do it for me.
My favourite Christmas memory is... going to Lapland to meet Santa when I was 9 years old. What a magical place. I’d go back in the morning. To be honest, every Christmas is my favourite – I love spending time with my family.
