Price obviously expected the worst when presenters Ant and Dec visited the camp to give her the bad news, saying: ‘It's obvious.
‘What a surprise. Are you having a laugh?’
She went head to head with TV presenter Kim Woodburn in the fifth trial with the pair challenged to eat vile jungle delicacies including kangaroo anus and testicles, grubs and cockroaches.
Woodburn was reluctant to tuck in, branding hosts Ant and Dec ‘ratbags’ for making her eat the food.
She said: ‘If you were gentlemen you'd go in there and eat it yourself. I'm old enough to be your mother you know. Where's the respect?’
But Price appeared confident and said it was like a trial she did when she first appeared on the show in 2004.
Despite that she struggled, spitting out fish eyes and refusing to eat the testicles, and it was Woodburn who emerged victorious with five stars for her camp.
Earlier, one of Price's fellow contestants, property expert Justin Ryan, said he thought it was ‘a bit bloody unfair’ she kept being nominated to take part in the trials.
He said: ‘She feels demoralised because day in day out the British public are voting to see her squirm.’
Earlier, Price discussed her ex-husband Peter Andre who she met on the show in 2004 and said she wanted to meet another ‘soulmate’.
She said: ‘It's so sad, really. The whole situation. It's so sad. When you split up with someone it's not just them you leave; it's the family.’
