Athlete Jade Johnson looks set to return to the dancefloor this Saturday night after being forced to sit out last week’s 'Strictly Come Dancing' due to a last minute injury.
The long jumper’s knee 'popped' during final dress rehearsals on Saturday and she was left in agony and unable to perform. The Daily Mail reports that after a series of tests a physiotherapist has concluded that there is no serious damage and she is fit to dance this weekend.

The rules of the show say that a celebrity can miss one week if a doctor rules they are not fit to perform but if they miss the following week they are eliminated from the contest.
Johnson is dancing with professional Ian Waite in the competition and has displayed significant improvement in her performances in recent weeks.
Last week’s show saw cricketer Phil Tufnell and his partner Kayta Virshilas being eliminated after they found themselves in the bottom two with actor Ricky Groves and partner Erin Boag.
Laila Rouass, who is dancing with Anton du Beke, also experienced difficulties with injuries on Saturday night, and she was unable to complete her performance.
