Top international model Jodie Kidd will present the Best Designer Award at the inaugural RTÉ Off the Rails Fashion Awards this weekend.
The model will be taking the place of Jerry Hall, who under medical advice has been instructed not to fly to Ireland.
It is understood that the actress is suffering from exhaustion following her latest run of 'Calendar Girls'.
The shortlist for the Best Designer Award includes John Rocha, Joanne Hynes, Tim Ryan, Pauric Sweeney and Sharon Wauchob.
The winner will be announced during a ceremony at the RDS on Friday 13 November.
