Singer Michael Bublé has said that he used to "sabotage relationships" because he was afraid of both success and failure.

Speaking about past break-ups, the singer told the Sunday Express: "It was going through the break-up and asking myself why. I have a tendency to sabotage relationships; I have a tendency to sabotage everything."

"Fear of success, fear of failure, fear of being afraid. Useless, good-for-nothing thoughts."

Bublé explained that he now has a more positive outlook on relationships, saying: "It was just about waking up. I think that I had to."

"If I had continued with the patterns that were destructive in my personal life and my business... Why not try and become a better man now?"

"I've become a lot more introspective. I've taken the time to get to know myself and to like myself and to respect myself."

"A lot of things stemmed from insecurity. I didn't understand why I had all these wonderful things in my life and why I still felt unfulfilled."
