'This morning' presenter Phillip Schofield has said that he won’t take side in the marriage break-up of Katie Price and Peter Andre.

Digital Spy reports that Schofiled wrote on his blog that people are getting bored with the ex-couple. He said: "What makes this break-up even more upsetting is that they are communicating, but in the papers! Not really a reliable way to pick through the wreckage of a marriage.

"It's hard to know who is in the right and if what we are hearing is anywhere near the truth. I don't intend to take sides, I like them both but this public scrap is anything but helpful.

"Katie also said on 'This Morning' that she was running a business, well if that's how we are to view it, then I'm beginning to feel more than a whiff of public boredom."

He added: "With a couple who thrive off public interest, apathy must be the greatest danger. We want them both to be happy, but we admire dignity and restraint, which could be lacking in some quarters.

"I have said on my Twitter page that I think Katie is winding Pete up just to get a reaction. I stand by that.

"This should not be about point scoring, it should be about sensible adults behaving in a dignified way, if only for the sake of the children."

Katie Price was a guest on ‘This Morning’ this week and Andre act as a showbiz reported on the popular morning series.
