Russell Brand is planning an elaborate, highly unusual present for girlfriend, Katy Perry's 25th birthday, according to reports.
Brand is planning to arrange for a petting zoo to be set-up at the singer's home at a cost of €22,000.
A source said: "Russell took Katy to see the movie 'Where The Wild Things Are'.
"She was really taken with the petting zoo temporarily set up next to the Farmer's Market.
"There are real animals in one section and then this amazing fake menagerie for kids.
"You can milk the cow and ride on the pony. It's very kitsch and fun."
Katy said she would love to have a go on everything but didn't because she didn't want to be photographed.
The source added: "While she was looking at a goat being unloaded Russell got the contact details of the event organisers.
"He has arranged for the zoo to arrive at Katy's LA home for her birthday. She will be tickled pink."
