One of the original members of the Sugababes, Siobhan Donaghy, is said to be considering a reunion with former members, Mutya Buena and Keisha Buchanan.
The Sun newspaper reports that Buena has contacted Donaghy and Buchanan in a attempt to reform the original line-up of the group.
A friend of Donaghy is quoted as saying "She met up with Mutya for the first time in ages over the summer and they got on well.
"Now Mutya is convinced the original three could be huge again. She was on the phone all last weekend trying to convince the girls to reform. Siobhan's considering it."
Last month the only original member of the group, Buchanan, was asked to leave and the current line-up is Heidi Range, Amelle Berrabah and new girl Jade Ewen.
Donaghy left the group in 2001 and was replaced by Range while Buena left in 2005 and her place was filled by Berrabah.
