O'Brien - Gray's Tony is about to get his comeuppance

'Coronation Street' murderer Tony Gordon is in for some shock, as are fans of the show, when he finally gets his comeuppance.

According to The Sun, the factory boss, played by Gray O'Brien, suffers a heart attack and is terrified as he collapses on the cobbles and struggles to breathe.

The villain is found by Roy Cropper (David Neilson) and rushed to hospital in the dramatic episode.

As his condition gets worse, Tony thinks he's going to die so clears his conscience by confessing to the Roy's Rolls café owner that he killed his love rival Liam Connor (Rob James-Collier).

Roy is horrified by what he's heard but is then told to leave the room when Tony's condition suddenly deteriorates and medics use a defibrillator to try to restart his heart.

How will Roy cope with the consequences of knowing Tony's dark secret? We'll find out more when the scenes air on Friday 30 October.
