Singer Leona Lewis has cancelled a promotional tour of Germany after being punched during a book signing in London yesterday, according to a report.
The 24-year-old was signing autographs at Waterstone’s shop in Piccadilly Circus for over an hour when the incident took place. It is reported that a man whose copy of the book had just been signed lashed out at the star when she looked up at him.
Metro is now reporting that the singer has cancelled immediate engagements as she is in shock following the incident.
A spokesperson for the 'X Factor' winner said the singer wished to thank her fans for their messages of support.
Police are reportedly questions a man about the incident.
