'Friends' star Matthew Perry is planning to return to television with a new comedy series which he will star in, co-write and executive produce.
The Hollywood Reporter says that the as-yet-untitled series will follow the manager of a sports arena who starts to re-evaluate his life when he turns 40.
Perry himself celebrated his 40th birthday in August.
The actor's 'Friends' co-stars Courteney Cox and Matt LeBlanc are also involved in new television series: she is starring in 'Cougar Town', while he recently agreed a deal to star in 'Episodes'.
