British actress Alice Eve has joined the cast of 'Sex and the City 2'.

Variety reports that Eve will play Charlotte's (Kristin Davis) young nanny in the sequel.
It is reported that Eve's character will cause conflict between Charlotte and friends Carrie (Sarah Jessica Parker), Miranda (Cynthia Nixon) and Samantha (Kim Cattrall)
The film is currently shooting in New York.
Eve's other credits include 'Crossing Over', 'Big Nothing' and 'Starter for Ten'.
