A ring worn by Penélope Cruz at the New York Film Festival last night has fuelled more speculation that she and actor Javier Bardem are engaged.
People reports that Cruz appeared at the screening of her film 'Broken Embraces' at the Lincoln Center wearing "a knuckle-sized sapphire surrounded by small diamonds on her ring finger".

Cruz would not answer questions on the ring, choosing instead to praise the director of 'Broken Embraces', Pedro Almódovar, who accompanied her to the screening.
