Kandy Rain were the first performers to be kicked off this season of 'X Factor' last night.
Viewers' votes decided the first round of live finals after the judges were deadlocked, with Simon Cowell and Louis Walsh backing Kandy Rain while Cheryl Cole and Dannii Minogue backed Adedeji.

But Walsh pulled out of the show, which was overshadowed by the death of Boyzone singer Stephen Gately, saying he had been left "very shocked and exceptionally upset" by the 33-year-old singer's death.
Meanwhile singer Robbie Williams performed on the show last night in his first UK stage performance in three years. Afterwards he said: "It's good to be back!"
The 35-year-old entertainer performed his comeback single Bodies. The Take That star-turned-soloist, who has sold 55 million records, was acting as mentor to the wannabe pop stars as they faced the public vote for the first time this week.
Williams said he could not pick a favourite from this year's contestants as there were an "awful lot out there that's going to do really well in this competition".
As the results were announced, Cowell said he was "surprised" that Adedeji was one of the two acts fighting for survival, but added he did not think Kandy Rain had been given "a fair crack" in the competition so far.
On Saturday, Cowell and Cole clashed over the live performance by Kandy Rain, whose past as pole dancers hangs over them.
Cole said that if the band, who dressed provocatively in skimpy outfits for the show, wanted to get away from their past they should have worn something more subtle and focused on their singing.
But Cowell, who accused Cole of having performed "practically half-naked in the past" told them: "You're fun, you're trying to make it in the music business. Good luck to you."
Last night, the girls performed Christina Aguilera's 'Stronger' as they fought for survival against Adedeji, who chose Pink's 'Nobody Knows'.
After losing in the public vote - the deciding factor in the event of a tie between the judges - the girls told host Dermot O'Leary they had "couldn't have done any better" and had "enjoyed every bit".
