Author and former 'The Hills' star Lauren Conrad has said that she isn't planning on pursuing an acting career.
Conrad has just agreed a film deal for her debut novel 'LA Candy' and was asked by People magazine whether she would consider playing the central character, Jane Roberts.
She replied: "I think my acting is offensive. I'm an awful actor, I'm not super comfortable with it."
Conrad added, however, that she would be heavily involved behind the scenes on the film version of her book.
"If you're putting your name on something, it's really important to be a part of it, or else people will just do whatever they want with it, and then it's not really you, and it won't be true. I'm planning on being a part of it from start to finish," she said.
