'Emmerdale' is reportedly set for a dramatic fire plot, which will result in one character fighting for her life.
According to the Daily Star, Sally decides to set fire to the church, while Laurel, her love rival, is still inside.
A source said of filming the dramatic scenes: "Charlotte [Bellamy, who plays Laurel] didn't let anything get in her way and the scenes look absolutely amazing."
The report has suggested that Laurel will be left fighting for life after the fire.
The scenes are due to air in November.
