The Daily Record reports that viewers will see a knife-wielding Tony Gordon (Gray O'Brien) confront Roy Cropper (David Neilson) at a canal while he is bat-watching.
The stand-off follows Roy's discovery that Tony was responsible for Liam Connor's death.
The actors filmed the scene this week and the showdown will be screened in November.
