Lily Allen has reportedly decided to quit the music industry because she can’t make any money out of it.

As part of her recent tirade on music piracy, the singer has confirmed that she has no plans to tour or make another album.

The 24-year-old announced on her anti-file sharing blog: "'Just so you know, I have not renegotiated my record contract and have no plans to make another record.

"The days of me making money from recording music has been and gone as far as I'm concerned, so I don't (at this point) stand to profit from legislation."

Instead, the Daily Mirror reports that Lily will star in the West End, playing a lead role in Neil LaBute's 'Reasons To Be Pretty'.

The production, which Lily describes as close to her heart, is about a group of fed up working-class friends.
