One of the leading actors from the Twilight cast has been injured on set of the third film in the Stephanie Meyer penned franchise, Eclipse.
According to Access Hollywood, Jackson Rathbone who plays vampire Jasper Hale suffered a minor injury on the set.
A representative for Summit Entertainment said: "[He] was slightly injured yesterday during a fight scene rehearsal.
"As a precaution, he was driven to the hospital and checked out by a doctor. He's fine and is back at work on the set of Eclipse today."
'Eclipse' is due for release in May 2010.
