The Irish Apprentice kicked off a new season last night with the first contestant getting the boot.
Business developer Craig Butler from Kildare was the first to go after the boys team failed at the task of selling ice-cream on the streets of Dublin.
According to The Star, panellist Brian Purcell revealed: "That house is hot. They just get it on, this crowd. They are so funny.
"It's brought back into the boardroom so that's one thing people will be watching is one undercurrent of love.
"It's just like in times of crisis. Just like in World War Two, all in the underground – they got it on there. In times of crisis, it happens."
He also revealed that there was plenty of tension in the house: "The bitching and the biting this year is way more severe than last year.
"This is a very different bunch of candidates from last year. They are much fierier, much feistier and more challenging."
