It has been announced that Lincoln Lewis who plays Geoff Campbell in 'Home and Away' will be leaving the Australian soap after two years.
Digital Spy reports that 21-year-old Lewis is set to film his final scenes on set tomorrow before starting work on a film called 'Tomorrow: When The War Began'.
Commenting on his departure Lewis said "It's sad to be leaving the cast and crew on 'Home and Away'. It was a hard decision to make, but I also think it’s the right time to go." He continued "I've been working in the training for the film with my commitments on 'Home and Away', so it’s been pretty busy."
The young actor was at the centre of controversy this summer when he admitted to inappropriately filming himself with an actress.
Speaking to the Australian media at the time he said "You do stupid things when you are young, But you learn from your mistakes, that's part of growing up. This mistake, and what I have learnt, will contribute a lot to making me a better person in the future."
