Ryan Tubridy continued to build on his 'Late Late Show' success last Friday night with his second show reaching nearly 1.5 million viewers over the course of the show.

Friday night’s line-up included Jermaine Jackson, Henry Shefflin and members of the All Ireland-winning Kilkenny hurling team, Kelly Osbourne, Moving Hearts and newsreader and psychoanalyst Michael Murphy.

However it was the actor John Hurt and his brother Anslem, a monk from Glenstal Abbey, who proved the biggest draw, with the show’s audience peaking with a one-minute-plus audience of 871,000.

An average audience of 748,000 and an audience share of 55% watched the show for the full two hours, which is an increase on the Late Late Show average for last year which was 683,000, with a share of 47%.
