Actor Chris Coghill returns to 'Eastenders' in November as his controversial character, Tony King, returns to stand trial.
Digitalspy reports that his character was last seen in the show in December when he tried to flee after it emerged that he had been having a relationship with his girlfriend’s stepdaughter since she was 12.
The case will be seen on screens in November when teen Whitney Dean played by Shona McGarty will have to give evidence against her abuser.
Coghill said of his return: "I'm really pleased that I have the opportunity to come back and finish this storyline. When you are given a storyline which has had so much extensive research, it is only right that it is given closure in a realistic manner such as this.
"I hope by 'EastEnders' tackling this sensitive issue once again, it can continue to raise awareness and show people in similar circumstances that they shouldn't be afraid to stand up in court as they will not have to face their abuser."
