The new two-part instalment of the award-winning drama series 'Pure Mule' begins on RTÉ One on Sunday night.
'Pure Mule: The Last Weekend' finds Scobie (Garrett Lombard) preparing to leave for Australia, Jennifer (Charlene McKenna) back home for a family funeral and the whole town trying to come to terms with the recession.
The first part airs on RTÉ One on Sunday, 6 September at 9.30pm, with the concluding part on Monday, 7 September at 9.35pm.
Written by Eugene O'Brien, directed by Declan Recks and produced by Accomplice Television for RTÉ, 'Pure Mule: The Last Weekend' was shot in and around Birr, Co Offaly.
The cast also includes Dawn Bradfield, Simone Kirby, Gail Fitzpatrick, Orla Fitzgerald and Liam Carney.
