EastEnder's Ricky Groves' is set to wow Strictly fans, according to his wife, actress Hannah Waterman.
Speaking to Closer magazine Waterman choreographed a whole routine with her light-footed groom for their 2006 wedding.
The actress, whose father is actor Dennis Waterman, explained: "It started with 'There May Be Trouble Ahead', then we stopped dancing and all the guests looked slightly shocked."
Waterman added: "He'll be brilliant - he can certainly dance. He's got rhythm and he's strong, so he shouldn't have any trouble throwing those teeny dancers around, and for a big bloke he's pretty light on his feet."
Groves, 41, has competition from younger stars including Hollyoaks Ricky Whittle, 27, and ex-Crimewatch host Rav Wilding, 30, when the competition kicks off on 18 September.
The actor recently left his role as mechanic Garry Hobbs in 'EastEnders'.
