Marcus has been evicted from the Big Brother house with 64% of the votes.

The hairy Londoner leaves after ten weeks in the house.

Siavash, who was also nominated, survived the public vote.

Marcus, 35, a carpenter from Brentford, looked relieved as presenter Davina McCall announced he would be the 12th contestant to be evicted.

He hugged fellow housemates before leaving the house to a mixture of cheers and boos.

Earlier his Big Brother housemate Siavash gave up all of his clothes in exchange for £10,000 towards the prize fund for the winner of this year’s show.

Big Brother announced to housemates that they had decided to scrap the £100,000 winner’s prize fund after a number of the contestants broke into the camera runs and ran about backstage after being accused of being boring.

The Sun reports that Siavash, in exchange for his clothes, has been provided with a unitard, stilettos and a collar and cuffs for the remainder of his time in the house.

Known for his eccentric style of dress, Siavash was unconcerned by his new look which he considers "sexy". He said "I don't think it's funny - it's good. I hope the public don't find it that funny when I leave the house. I think it looks fine!"

Meanwhile Marcus turned down an offer of £15,000 for the prize fund if he cut off his ponytail. Big Brother initially offered £10,000 but upped the offer when it was refused. Marcus said he would only consider cutting it for £1,000,000 and a German sportscar.
