Dublin singer Laura Izibor has been nominated in the Best Newcomer category for this year's MOBO Awards.
The singer faces competition from 'X Factor' stars JLS and Alexandra Burke, as well as Eurovision star Jade Ewen and Master Shortie.
Contesting the category of Best UK Act are Alesha Dixon, Bashy, Beverley Knight, Chipmunk, Dizzee Rascal, DJ Ironik, Donae'o, Mr Hudson, N-Dubz and Tinchy Stryder.
The nominees for Best International Act are Akon, Beyonce, Ciara, Drake, Eminem, Jay-Z, Kanye West, Keri Hilson, Lady Gaga and Mariah Carey.
Fighting it out for the Best Song award are 'Beat Again' by JLS, 'Diamond Rings' by Chipmunk featuring Emeli Sande, 'Head, Shoulders, Knees and Toes' by K.I.G. Family, 'Number One' by Tinchy Stryder featuring N-Dubz and 'Strong Again' by N-Dubz.
The awards will be presented at a ceremony in Glasgow on 30 September.
