'Big Brother' presenter Davina McCall has said that it is a "sad day for BB fans" following the news that the show is set to be axed next year.
In a posting on Twitter, McCall, who hosts the show, wrote: "Hello tweeters, feeling a bit blue. Next year is going to be mad! Nothing to lose!"

"BB is happening next year and CBB as well. You haven't got rid of me yet!"
She also wrote: "I have a really amazing feeling watching BB now. Like I want to cherish every second and love it even more, if that's possible."
