'Gossip Girl' star Blake Lively has joined the cast of actor-director Ben Affleck's new crime thriller 'The Town'.
Based on Chuck Hogan's novel 'Prince of Thieves', 'The Town' tells the story of a bank manager (Rebecca Hall), the career criminal (Affleck) she has fallen for and the FBI agent (Jon Hamm) who is trying to catch him.
The Hollywood Reporter says that Lively will play Affleck's character's troubled ex-girlfriend.
Affleck will begin shooting 'The Town' next month in Boston.
