'EastEnders' star Samantha Womack has been allowed as much time off work as she needs.
The grieving star, whose father Noel Janes was found dead in his flat in Brighton on Saturday, was due to film scenes this week but has been given time off.
It's not known how long Womack, 36, will be away from the show, where she plays Ronnie Mitchell, but bosses are said to be adjusting scenes so that her absence doesn't impact on the soap.
An 'EastEnders' spokeswoman said: "Our thoughts are with Sam and her family at this terrible time. We want her to take as much time off as she needs."
Co-stars are said to have rallied round to fill any gaps in filming schedules.
An 'EastEnders' source told the Daily Star that everyone on the show "feels her pain".
The source went on: "The Mitchell family are as close off screen as they are on screen, so they have all been saddened by the news.
"Barbara Windsor and Sam's on-screen sister Rita Simons have both been in touch and are doing all they can to help her."
