RTÉ has announced Marty Whelan and Kathryn Thomas as the presenters of 'Winning Streak' for the Autumn season.
The pair will appear on screen for the first time together on 12 September, when the new series of the show kicks off.
Speaking about the show, Whelan said: "I am really looking forward to working with Kathryn and am thrilled to be working with the National Lottery again."
"In these cash strapped times it’s great to be part of a show that brings such a sense of possibility to peoples’ lives. I think Irish people get a real kick out of watching the contestants’ good fortune and take vicarious pleasure in enjoying their success.”
Thomas said, “My career with 'No Frontiers' and 'Winning Streak' seems to revolve around the audience plugging into a sense of escapism!"
"It’s such a fantastic buzz working on a show with a live studio audience and there’s nothing like the thrill of seeing such joy on peoples’ faces as they win prizes galore.”
The new series of 'Winning Streak' will feature five exciting games - including two new games called 'Cloud 9' and 'The Wheel Reveal'.
