Ray D'Arcy has responded to 'X Factor' host Dermot O'Leary's claim that he would love to present 'The Rose of Tralee'.
Speaking to RTÉ.ie, D'Arcy said: "I've met Dermot, lovely guy, really lovely guy but he's even smaller than me."
"So if you think I look small beside some of the girls he's going to look tiny."
O'Leary previously said to the RTÉ Guide: "I'm waiting to hear when they're going to give me that Rose of Tralee gig because it hasn't happened yet."
"They need a bit of new blood in there. I like Ray D'Arcy - he's a nice guy, but come on, I'm waiting in the wings here Ireland - RTÉ get in touch."
