Actress and writer Amy Huberman has spoken about her plans for her wedding with her rugby player fiancé Brian O'Driscoll.
Speaking to RTÉ.ie yesterday, 'The Clinic' star said that she was beginning to get excited about planning the couple's big day.
Huberman said: "It's kind of becoming a little bit real now [because everything else took up so much of our time] which is cool because now I've something to plan."
"I'm starting to get really giddy about it now and our plans are kind of taking shape a little bit."
"Once the principal decision is made, not to actually get married but where to get married, the church... People were saying to me: 'Have you thought about a church?' and I was like 'Eh, not really'... apparently it's not all about the dress! Once we have those boxes ticked I can kind of relax a bit."
Speaking about the organising of the day, she said: "That's all kind of coming together. It is really exciting, it is. So I'm looking forward to doing all that, just enjoying it. And I just keep telling myself not to get stressed. There's no need."
Huberman also said that her family and friends are all keen to give her advice about arranging the wedding.
The actress said: "They all have great ideas. They all have the magazines with the pages folded down, saying 'You would like that'."
"A couple of girlfriends have gotten married so they've kept stuff along the way, saying 'I know that wasn't for us but I think you'd really like it' and that kind of stuff... so I've got about ten wedding planners around me, which is brilliant."
Huberman said: "I have my girls and my family and they're all on it. They're on top of it!"
