Miley Cyrus has spoken of her admiration for Britney Spears, declaring herself to be an enormous fan
of the singer and her recent comeback.
The Hannah Montana star presented Spears with the 'Ultimate' Teen Choice Award at the recent ceremony.
Ahead of her tribute to Spears on stage Cyrus told MTV News: "I'm doing something special with her tonight... She's a good friend of the family.
"I'm just happy to finally be able to really show everyone that she's back and she never went anywhere."
Spears and Cyrus both become child stars at a very young age, and Cyrus added that they both had something else in common.
She said: "I love how successful her music is doing right now and I am just proud of her, you know, another Southern girl... I love that."
