'Twilight' star Ashley Greene was reportedly spotted kissing 'Gossip Girl's' Chace Crawford after the Teen Choice Awards 2009.
Speaking to E! Online, an insider said: "Ashley and Chace have known each other for a while. They used to hook up actually back when he lived in LA.
"It was never anything too serious. It was before either of them was famous. They stayed good friends."
The actress, who plays vampire Alice Cullen in the hit franchise, was seen embracing Crawford in a car parked outside LAX airport following the award ceremony.
However, Greene later played down the rumours, telling Radar Online that they were "just friends" and that Crawford was a "great" guy.
