Peter Andre's comeback single 'Behind Closed Doors' could be set to reach number one position in the British charts according to a retailer.
Amazon.co.uk's MP3 store said the song was selling strongly after going on sale on Sunday.
According to the retailer, the single has been outselling all other big chart hits including 'Never Leave You' by Tinchy Stryder - the Official Charts Company's number one single - and 'I Gotta Feeling' by Black Eyed Peas at number two, as well as new releases including 'Ready for the Weekend' by Calvin Harris.
"We saw a high number of orders as soon as the track became available at midnight on (Saturday) and sales continued to be strong throughout the day," said Julian Monaghan, head of music buying at Amazon.co.uk Ltd.
"There is a good way to go before the end of the week but the initial response suggests that 'Behind Closed Doors' could well join 'Flava', 'I Feel You' and 'Mysterious Girl' in Peter Andre's list of UK chart toppers."
Andre's most successful release to date is 'Mysterious Girl', which sold more than two million copies worldwide.
'Flava' and 'I Feel You' were also number one hits for the 36-year-old star.
