Departing 'American Idol' judge Paula Abdul has been offered a job on 'Dancing With The Stars', according to a senior ABC executive.
Digitalspy reports the ABC’s President of Entertainment Steve McPhearson said that he had "reached out to Abdul".
He told reporters "I would love to [have her]. I was a little stunned by the [Idol] decision. We would love to have her on Dancing either as a participant or a contestant," he said.
"I definitely have reached out to her. I gave her a call first and foremost to say I was sorry about the situation and to say we'd love to see her on ABC." He continued "I think she is a huge talent. There's a sensitivity and an empathy that balances out Idol, and we'd love to get a piece of that."
