It has been confirmed that Victoria Beckham will make an appearance as a guest judge on the ninth season of 'American Idol'.
Sky News reports that a representative for the former Spice Girl said she has agreed to make a one-off guest appearance on the show.
The news comes a number of days after Paula Abdul confirmed that she will not be joining the judging panel for the new season.
Beckham is set to join the remaining judges Randy Jackson, Simon Cowell and Kara DioGuardi.
Sky News also reports that Beckham is unable to make a longer commitment to the programme due to desire to focus on her fashion line
