Actress Katie Holmes reportedly had a narrow escape on the set of her new movie when a car she was using began to smoulder.
According to The Sun, the actress had finished filming her movie scene in the car when black smoke started to emerge from the bonnet.
Crew on the set of 'Don't Be Afraid of the Dark' reportedly rushed to the car and removed a smouldering battery.
A source said: "It's dreadful to think how serious it could have been."
