Singer and actress Jennifer Lopez will not be joining the 'American Idol' panel, according to her representatives.
Media rumours which suggested that the star may replace current judge Paula Abdul next season have been dismissed.
Lopez fuelled the rumours by being photographed dining with the show's host Ryan Seacrest recently.
However, Lopez's spokesperson later told People magazine: "The rumour of Jennifer Lopez throwing herself in the ring to take over for Paula Abdul is completely false."
