A man has been arrested for allegedly sending threatening text messages to TV presenter and DJ Fearne Cotton.
Sky news reports that UK officers swooped on the 21-year-old man in Derby on Sunday after the threats were sent to Cotton while she presented the Official Chart Show with co-host Reggie Yates.
He was transferred down to London for questioning and received a caution, as well as a harassment warning, Scotland Yard said.
Cotton, 27, was reportedly given a police escort home from the radio studios due to the "severe" nature of the messages.
A spokesman for the police said: "A 21-year-old man was arrested in connection with sending threatening SMS text messages.
"He subsequently received a caution. He also received a first issue harassment warning."
