The latest Harry Potter film, 'The Half-Blood Prince', has received praise from the Vatican newspaper L'Osservatore Romano.
Previous movies in the franchise have been criticised by Christian groups in the past for allegedly endorsing witchcraft.
However, 'The Half-Blood Prince' received a favourable review in L'Osservatore Romano for demonstrating the clear difference between good and evil.
Writing in the journal, Gaetano Vallini said the new instalment was "far more credible" than the previous adaptations.
"What remains are values such as friendship, altruism and loyalty," he wrote.
