'Coronation Street's Jack Duckworth is reportedly set to leave Weatherfield in the near future.
However, the character, played by 68-year-old Bill Tarmey, will not be leaving the show completely.
According to The Sun, the veteran actor has decided to cut down on his acting work after experiencing some health problems recently.
The upcoming storyline will see Jack move out of Tyrone and Molly's house, which he once shared with Vera, and into the home of new partner Connie.
Jack reportedly bids a final farewell to his deceased wife Vera before moving out of the house, saying: "Everybody knows we had more than our share of ups and downs between these walls.
"But we were happy here until you decided to sneak off to heaven before closing time. It's not like Connie will ever replace you.
"You know that don't you, my little puddle-duck? Aye, I'm sure you do."
